The Golden Oil: Argan oil

The beneficial effects of argan oil

Argan oil is a golden oil obtained from the seeds of the Moroccan argan tree, which is used for food and cosmetic purposes, as well as for the treatment of skin diseases.

Argan oil is also called “liquid gold”. The Berber tribes have been using it on the face for centuries, and the world has learned about its wonderful effects for a few decades now.

Argan oil contains many essential fatty acids, 80% of which are unsaturated. It also contains vitamin E, phenols, carotenoids and squalenes. Thanks to its active ingredients, it makes the skin smooth and soft and is easily absorbed. Suitable for all skin types, it provides extra help for the care of dry, water- and fat-deficient, mature skin. Antiallergenic, so it can be used on any skin type. Thanks to its excellent regenerating antioxidant andanti-inflammatory properties. Due to its antioxidant effect, argan oil is an ideal anti-aging product. With regular use, the skin will be fuller and more elastic.

What are the many areas where we can use?

For the face

Argan oil can be used as a day cream and applied more richly at night, when it has more time to develop its effect. It can be applied to the face up to three times a day.

For the eye area

Argan oil is excellent for fading small wrinkles and mimic lines that appear around the eyes. It hydrates and replenishes the delicate skin around the eyes.

For scars, acne-prone skin

Due to its skin regenerating effect, argan oil can also help treat smaller scars. We especially recommend it for acne-prone skin, as it can help eliminate scars and spots left over from previous acne. Due toits anti-inflammatory effect, it can reduce the inflammation of acne. As an antioxidant, it helps the skin to heal.

For sensitive skin, inflammatory skin conditions

In the case of inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema or rosacea, argan oil has a positive effect due to itsanti-inflammatory properties. In the periods between the appearance of symptoms, it supports the binding of water in dry, thinned, sensitive skin, thus preventing itching and dehydration.

After sunbathing or sunburn

If you have burned or spent so much time outdoors, argan oil cools the skin and promotes its regeneration. Attention: it is excellent after sunbathing, but it does not replace the physical sunscreen!

For lip care

Argan oil is an extremely good hair growth and nourishing agent, it has the same effect on our eyelashes and eyebrows thanks to its vitamin A, antioxidant and fatty acid content. It is best if you brush your eyebrows and eyelashes with argan oil during your evening facial care.
